The St.Croix River Education District (SCRED) is an organization that provides educational services to six school districts in Minnesota: Chisago Lakes, North Branch, Rush City, Pine City, Hinckley-Finlayson, and East Central. Along with managing special education services for member districts, SCRED provides guidance and support for implementation of a Response to Intervention (RtI) framework. In fact, SCRED districts have been early impelmenters of RtI dating back to the early 1980's! SCRED received a 2-year allocation from the MN legislature to form a statewide RtI Center (2007-2009)
